Conquest Firespray provides technical support to facilitate local approvals with the Authority Having Jurisdiction throughout the United States. We provide technical support to professional design engineers, general contractors, architects and mechanical subcontractors.
Enhanced Duct Standards
Conquest Firespray constructs our ductwork, before spraying, to an enhanced SMACNA standard. The duct will be constructed to a minimum 6-inch pressure classification for both positive and negative pressures with galvanized, stainless or PVC-coated materials. The duct can also be constructed to standards greater to BW11 minimum. We will construct BW11 to any shape or size as required by the design engineer and no re-design is necessary with BW11.
Firespray Flamebar System Technical Guidelines
The Flamebar System can be utilized in numerous applications such as stairwell pressurization, make up air, exhaust air, kitchen exhaust, laboratory exhaust and any application where air systems are protected with a 2-4 hour rated assembly. Flamebar BW11 provides the rated enclosure and is specified as a fire rated duct system. We offer a complete assembly including duct construction, fire rated gasket and caulk, G-clips and through wall penetration details.
